Black Thread

It did seem like the world was out of stock of any and all black thread. Why? Because I needed some of course!

Good news though: I asked the Sew Thankful folks to send me the so fine (bobbin) portion of my order and they agreed AND I found a place in Georgia, Pumpkinvine Corner that not only carries huge cones of aurofil, but they had black and it’s on its way to me already. And they had a little machine mounted LED light which I think will be useful with all this black.

When I got the email confirming the aurofil, I emailed back an excited reply. The reply came back that if I’d ordered it 20 min earlier it would have gone out yesterday.

Moral of the story: patience may be a virtue but panicking sooner may be better than doing so later lol.

Miscellany

Long, too late day at work. Not much else to say about that actually. Some nice people, some typical work stupidness. Too late.

Dinner on arriving home and after feeding the cats: thinly sliced cheddar, some turkey pepperoni and some pickles. How gourmet.

Working black thread on black tonight is not for me.

Maybe some popcorn and chianti will make it all right.
