Writing this large

There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living. — Unknown

OK, I’ve done a bit of rummaging online and can find lots of references in the past year to this quote but no references to it being from Karl Marx, although I love the idea of it. I’m going to remove the attribution for the time being, but will keep rummaging.

Why I should keep busy

Attached the binding and sleeves and printed the label. For fun I put a QR code (not the one shown below) on the label and wondered who’d be able to read it so I set up a survey, sent out the link and sat back to see what would result.

Hanging it up for the night

Glad to have finished the quilting tonight. Luckily had some binding ready to cut so I did that. Hung the quilt back up on the design wall. hangs flatter than it did before the edges were quilted, go figure. Needs a good pressing (aka blocking) and then get those edges finished.

Tomorrow and beyond: Blocking the quilt, make sleeves, attach binding. Label.
