Went, shopped, etc… now must put away and cook

Having gone to fetch veggies and such for Thursday, I now must put it away and in fact, cook some of it. I got myself a turkey, asked if they’d spatchcock it (nope), and some other things to hopefully fall back onto the bring-lunch wagon.

Been quite the day so far, so hope it keeps going in the “better” direction. As we all know, it’s very important to keep a sense of humor about you during stressful holiday times. (and for pete’s sake, that means reading the fine print!)

Camera+ humor

And just because of the crossing of news and Fruitcake season:

Just say no to bad fruitcake.

and finally, this, seen in a drug store. (and what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a PEZ dispenser!)

PEZ dispenser heaven

What are the chances? #NaNoWriMo

What are the chances of stopping, throwing it all in word count and coming up with

2012

Seriously, for a total of 22018. I have to go to a work meeting now for a few hours and pick up cat food on the way home so the cats won’t die tomorrow. Then hopefully some more words before bed.

My main character Matt is looking for a place to live and this might be it: Llyn y Fan Fawr near Powys in Wales. Try this photographer for similar views.

Scary things seen on the web, Science Category

As much as I was taken by the graphic image, I was too afraid to click this ad, seen on The Scientist Magazine site, so I looked up the scary word instead.

(I had seen a link to this article, and wondered if it was regarding writing or tissue rejection, LOL)
