Gail mentioned The Flotsam Exhibit from long ago. I managed to log into my very old tripod account and sure enough the files were still there. In fact, I have more photos of more Flotsam Exhibits than are up on the web but it amazes me that those old pages are still there. In those days cameras had very low rez (heck the first digital camera I ever saw used floppies to store the shots!

Anyway, there were pictures like this:

in the chilled, dark house
the nervous cats greeted me:
lady, something’s wrong!

the power has failed
not for the first time this year
and not for the last.

So that’s not so bad I guess. I had the wisdom to go out and get Chinese food for dinner while waiting for the power to come back on. And, it was on when I got back, so all good. The egg drop soup warmed me up while the house was coming back up to habitable.
