As a quilt show bureaucrat, part of the job is to look around and see what’s working and what’s not working for other events and to learn from all that. So when I saw a link to this local event I realized a whole new area that is being seriously neglected by more typical quilt events…

Four cats curled up together would be nigh on miraculous, but I do occasionally see three together. I refer to this as the kitty trinity and it’s usually worth a photo if I can get to a camera in time. After all our fun with the reply-all kitties I mentioned this kitty trinity photo a few times, so here it is, direct from random images in the sidebar:
And for the record the trinity is: Deirdre and the two brothers: Archie and Razzie. Then Miss Molly jumps up and stirs them all up and they huff off to separate corners.

cuz inside they don’t have a big bug dept. This was dead and about 3/4-1″ long
Replied all to a loooooooong string of replied all emails inadvertantly sent (with a nice funny cat picture attached) company-wide to people like me rather than to just the single store the original info pertained to. OMG yes don’t mind if I do. I of course replied with a picture of two of my own cats.
Shortly after, someone pointed out that we shouldn’t be replying all because it was going to the whole company. Really? I’m sure we had NOOOOOO idea that that’s what we were doing, LOL. But quite seriously, it was nice to see people having some good clean fun with it.
And, shortly after that, I put in for December 12 and 13 off in prep of seeing Hobbit II.
We all have our priorities.
