Kathy’s Song

Kathy’s Song
and now from the heart of 1966…(more lyrics)

…And as a song I was writing is left undone
I don’t know why I spend my time
Writing songs I can’t believe
With words that tear and strain to rhyme.

And so you see I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

And as I watch the drops of rain
Weave their weary paths and die
I know that I am like the rain
There but for the grace of you go I.

Fun Side Project, update

I’m about half way to my target!

left behind sweater
draped over an empty chair
now warming shoulders

Cold? Add a layer.
Too hot? the advice for that
might become risqué.

socks, tights and long sleeves
peeled off after fighting work
hypothermia.

New Trend in Spam Mail – The End Days

Should I be concerned that there’s a wave of mail hitting my inbox that’s all about the End Days? (it’s always capped in the emails…)

Even odder, if you look at them, they’re all about the end of the Obama presidency. (Shouldn’t everyone who’s not for him be relieved that his term is coming to a close? So confused. Apparently there are things worse than Obama’s term coming to an end – turns out to be The End Days!)

It all looks different but familiar

Watching the first disk of The Fellowship of the Ring. Strange but I feel as though I’m back in a land I know.
