The Traveling Quilt – Verge

Had an email that a quilt of mine, which has been traveling for three years with an exhibit, has reached its final tour destination, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Michigan.

Here is a private exhibit of my quilt, Verge.

#Bobbincount 7

Took awhile, but I could hear the sound changing as I went, so I stuck it out until it happened.

PS. That’s the bobbin case in the middle. It’s what holds the bobbin while it’s in the machine.

PPS. It’s so humid that the little watercolor is still wet in spots and damp in others.

A little paint, a little quilting

Sort of a LOT wet in the yellow red area. Must learn patience. Must.let.dry.

Meanwhile I will go up and do some quilting then get ready for a day with mom tomorrow.
