I was driving home thinking about clouds and paper and paint and had a “wonder what would happen if…” So after playing with the cats a little, I sat down and did a very quick experiment. This was taken very wet. We’ll see how it looks in the morning. The foreground and horizon stuff was just to get in some base colors – it was too wet to continue.

Also if you want to see a goofy experiment in time-lapse photography… Will try to do better positioning the camera next time.
