Sorry if anyone used the comment feature I put in last night – it totally hung on the provider end so I took it out. Life is hard enough without having to wait forever for a web page to load. If you have comments about what you see or read here, please leave a comment in the guest book at left. I get notices and will contact you promptly! Thanks.

Survived day two (after having Sunday off…..)

For a video clip of the store opening, taken by one of the customers. It’s rather large, so you probably want to give it a headstart before starting it. Ron’s in it, and I think I go by very briefly. Also it’s shot in sort of music video style – lots of movement – so dramamine might be in order.

First day in the Albany/Crossgates Mall Apple Store —

Here’s a photo of me, dressed for the part, in the kids section. Worked in the afternoon talking about ibooks and imacs and even sold a couple. Now I’m a tired pup,

Telemarketing gone bad: — This really tickled my funny bone in a perverted sort of way.

The phone rings. I pick it up.
“Mrs. Goodman?” the voice asks.
“yes” I reply.
–telemarketing mode on – something about resort vacations…..–
I say “See ya!” as I hang up the phone. OK. Normally Ron and I will say something like – we’re-not-interested-in-phone-solicitations-goodbye, as we’re hanging up the phone.
I go back towards what I was doing.
The phone rings AGAIN. I pick it up.
The voice says “See ya” Click!
