Also known as the Fourth of July. Was so hot as I left work I decided to come home and find something to paint at my house. My one geranium has all its first flowers going on so I moved it to be in the view.<\/p>\n

First this. Second night painting on this multimedia paper – Canson 98lb 9×12″. It’s smooth but also light so you have to be careful. No do-overs.<\/p>\n

Then I did this of just the geranium, 4×6″ Canson Montval watercolor paper coldpress 140.<\/p>\n

After scanning and exporting etc in Pixelmator<\/a>, I tried a kaleidoscope effect on the first image and liked this one.<\/p>\n
