\nare known, that day by day
\nwe hurry through
\nboth chores and song
\nand lightly running
\npass down one path
\nthen next and next
\npenultimate unknown
\na day is reached
\nand then the last
\nhow many paths til
\nthat rest place found
\nNeither knowing nor telling
\nthe days lead on.
\nSit! Stay then,
\ntelling tales and singing
\nhere where life lies
\nand sweet work of living
\nguessing what may be
\npast the hill’s edge
\nthere where the clouds fly<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
