Halfway from home we stop,

\nwith all day breakfast
\nlunch and dinner
\nthe walls covered
\nwith offerings
\na board of specials
\npot pies, mac ‘n’ cheese,
\nand trendy avocado
\nRegulars and wayfarers
\ncounter sitters and booths
\nlarge mugs of coffee,
\none refill included.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For the record, Mom had a reuben (served with a small mason jar of extra russian dressing) and I had a specials board sandwich: smoked turkey, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and chipotle mayo on grilled sturdy bread. <\/p>\n
