But still. What good is tracking information if it&#8217;s bogus and just makes you ponder the inefficiencies of the Postal Service?<\/p>\n<p>Now, if that package is in my mailbox tomorrow, what will I think about that? Stay tuned.<\/p>\n<p>** I had posted an earlier version of this tracking info the other day on Facebook and reported on my phone conversation with USPS about the package:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> I couldn&#8217;t resist calling about this (also having a sliver of doubt that it actually would just end up in Tucson) and was told that it had departed &#8220;TUXzon&#8221; today and was scheduled for delivery on Monday. And no there would not be a refund of shipping cost because it turns out that Priority Two-Day Mail is not a guaranteed service. No kidding.<\/p>\n<p>I did allow that this is an example of why the post office isn&#8217;t doing well &#8211; it sends packages in completely the opposite direction needed and misadvertises its services.
