Some #haiku to close up the night

Made it through the day, hanging on a bit at the end of it. Like a horse pointed to the barn, I forgot all about something I was supposed to do on the way home. I blame the rainbows I saw including one that seemed to end on my car. I vented a bit about stuff that annoys me. I laughed at some stuff that was pretty darn funny. I sewed some ridiculous bits of fabric to others equally ridiculous regardless of what anyone else thinks. I learned something new that a friend sent along my way. Dipped my toe into something I’d only heard about. I wrote these few haiku. I’m off to slip into the Mabinogian before sleep.

nights, wishing on stars
the warm spring air vibrating
with wishing for you.

it’s dark inside there
when you close your eyes, it’s dark:
not always the night.

nearby, birds compose
as night and day change places
telling of the world.

Love it. Glad your day went well. I listen to the birds sometimes in the night. Chattering by or in the front bushes.
